I really don't like this design. First of all theres no center of interest, unless you consider the "RAYGUN" title, in which the text isn't appealing at all. The other center of interest is the mans head, which is cut out, and it doesn't look good at all. The tracking in the text is really annoying, and bothers me a lot because it is unbalanced and very random. The colors are also not appealing to my eyes at all. I feel as if the image had more of a darker background over a warm color such as red the image would be much more appealing and still give a mysterious look to it.

The design is trying to get you to buy tea from "Lyons". I see a orange and red color scheme, with white text. The colors really pop out, but its not particularly my favorite color scheme. I'm assuming it was made in the 1920's, because of the colors, and the ad looks really old, and because the item being advertised is tea. The company was founded in 1884. I like the layout of this design, its very simple and easy to read the text. The text has a nice and big font, and the typography is thick and bold but not your standard "Times New Roman" that is used all the time.

The design looks like an apocalyptic magazine about zombies or disease or something, and is trying to get me to buy it or read it. The color scheme is yellow, orange, and red to portray a bloody apocalyptic appearance. Theres also a dark green/light green color scheme to show a scary toxic look. I think this was made in the late 80s because now days you are more likely to see more red and black. The font is important because it gives the design a spooky and interesting look.

This design is trying to get the viewer to go view to an Indie band when it comes on tour near you. The colors are primarily red and yellow. I think it was made recently, in the 2010's because the text is slanted to about a 45 degree angle, and theres a date on the poster that says 2012. I think the font is important because it matches indie music, with sort of a retro type text. I think the yellow tint on the person is very nice because it creates contrast with the yellow text on a red square, and than on a yellow tinted person. I think that black text is the best for this background, after testing out multiple colors on photoshop.

The design is trying to get me to drink 7up. I see a color theory of colors on the opposite side of the color wheel, red and green. I think it was made in the 1910s or 1920s because of the older style font. The design isn't balanced. I last had a 7up probably around the 4th of July. The name 7up was apparently created by the creator who failed to make a good tasting drink with his special formula six times, before finally on the 7th try, he found the formula to a refreshing soft drink.

The design is trying to get me interested in graphic design. The color scheme is analogous, using purples, pinks, and white. The design is asymmetrically balanced. The font is sans, because it is the same boldness throughout the whole letter. You would want to use sans to make the text easier to read, and serif for a body paragraph.

The design is trying to get people to go to a ballet showing in Russia, Ukraine, and a few other countries. The design is balanced, and is asymmetrically balanced. The text is in a sans font because its all important information meant to be read. It looks like the image was painted by hand, and the text was printed.

The design is trying to get me to go to a haunted house in 45 minutes away from Boston. The design is balanced, however it is asymmetrical. "Spooky World" is the only thing I can easily read, everything else is difficult to see from a distance because of the font and the contrast with the background. Purple, red, and green were used because they provide a spooky haunted house feeling. I really like this design, however there is way too much things crammed on the page. I would like perhaps less text, especially because theres so much different colored and different sized text. There are probably ads because the companies are sponsoring the haunted house to advertise their products, so the haunted house is probably really popular.

I don't know if I like this design, probably because its in a different language. But if it were in English and I could read it I'm sure I would like it. The big logo in the top right is the center of interest and works well for the background that the design has.

The color theory is shades of white, and red. The design is trying to get you to watch a new show thats coming out called "How I met you Mother". Sans font is used because this was displayed on the internet and on television. I like how the design is simple, and tells you about the show, and how its a new comedy that is a "love story in reverse". Also, you can easily tell who the main character is, the guy on the red chair.
